DCI Frank Johnson resorts to kidnapping prime suspect Toby Goodyear, a known paedophile, in order to find out if he has taken little Jenny Foster. Determined to find her still alive, Frank has asked a friend of his to interrogate the suspect - a friend that raises fears inside Toby that he never thought he'd have to face...
